Looking at our mental goals when we create art and finding the courage to stop before we reach them. Sometimes we can overwork our piece and miss some amazing successes.

I look at others work and try not to compare myself to what they accomplish. The best person to compete with is yourself.

What do you do with your business at the end of the year?

When people say things that don't feel that nice, are they really making a compliment? It always depends on where you are standing or coming from.

We may not have much but the greatest value is a gift of time. Give time to friends, family and community as we all need to feel a sense of family right now.

What do you do with the down time of winter? Take the time to think about what you are doing and the direction you want to focus on while you re-organize your life and your space.
