...serenity in motion

Coming to the end of June and new beginings

It has been a long spring filled with stress and hard work.  I am finally done with my two projects and now getting back to the studio on a regular basis.  I’m changing a few things and was able to work on new techniques to facilitate taking these new paths.

I travelled with 2 friends to two different destinations in Washington and they both told me how hard I worked.  I have only felt it this month, Terrain Creative Enterprises has been one of the toughest and most worthwhile projects I have done as an artist.  Being raised by a professional, I tended to follow her path in business but times change and things change.  One of the hardest things to decide is what path I should follow and where to look for my own direction. Terrain’s project helped me asses what I want, the time I might have and decide on a path for my career.  My business plan needs fine tuning but at least now, I have one.  That is amazing to me.

The Self-Guided Art Practice Grant that I was given also helped me understand what I want to learn and how I want to grow as an artist.  I am very excited about where I will be going from here. If anything, I am eager to get back on the show circuit again.  Look for me on the road, I am excited to see you all again.
